~~ STI CONSULTING RELINQUISHES EUROPCAR FRANCHISE. ~~

STI Consulting, one of the leading management consulting and executive training companies in Nigeria has announced the decision of the Board of Directors to relinquish the Franchise of Europcar in order to pursue its core business of consulting and executive and management development. According to Abiodun Olusanya, Managing Director, STI Consulting, ‘the decision to relinquish the Europcar Franchise is a first step taken in charting a new strategic direction that will reposition STI Consulting to fully realize its potential in Nigeria and the West African sub-region’  

Europcar Nigeria is a franchise of Europcar International, and one of the leaders in the Nigerian car rental and leasing market. The brand owner, Europcar International is a Paris based car rental company owned by the French investment company Eurazeo, after its sale by the Volkswagen group. The company that was founded in Paris in 1949, is the European leader in passenger car and light utility vehicle rentals. It serves business and leisure customers throughout Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Latin America and Asia – Pacific. Since its strategic alliance with Enterprise Holdings in the USA, Europcar operates the world’s largest car rental network, with more than 1.2 million vehicles and 13,000 locations around the world.

The Europcar Nigeria franchise has now been acquired by Fleet Masters, a Nigerian vehicle leasing and rental company. Europcar Nigeria will continue to operate in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Enugu, Calabar and Benin. According to the Europcar Country Manager, Amaka Okwudili, more Europcar locations will open before the end of the year.

~~ STI CONSULTING SIGNED A PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT WITH UNIVERSITY OF BRIGHTON ~~

STI Consulting, one of the leading management consulting and executive training companies in Nigeria has announced a partnership agreement with the University of Brighton United Kingdom to jointly develop and execute executive and management development programs in the areas of Leadership and Strategic Change Management.

According to Abiodun Olusanya, Managing Director, STI Consulting, the choice of University of Brighton is strategic having noted the university’s achievements in offering career-focused opportunities for international managers and executives and work-based learning opportunities. He stated ‘the University of Brighton has one of the best teaching quality ratings in the UK and a strong research record, factors which contribute to the university’s reputation as a choice trainer in relevant fields of study. Their research has been translated into practical applications, transforming lives and making real impact on society.

In explaining the choice of Leadership and Strategic Change programs, Olusanya described the areas as critical if we are serious about improving performance of Nigerian managers. He says ‘when you compare our products, infrastructures, markets, processes, capabilities and capacity, then you will agree that we need to work harder whether you are operating in the public or private sector. The partnership agreement will run for an initial three years.

Olusanya hopes the relationship will create an avenue to research some aspects of the Nigerian market and enterprise.

~~STI 2011 OIL AND GAS BUSINESS MANAGEMENT MASTERCLASS AT SHERATON HOTEL, IKEJA.~~

STI Consulting held the first in the series of the 2011 Oil and Gas Business Management MasterClass at Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja, from 14th - 18th March 2011. It was a huge success. The Second Program in the series is scheduled to run from September 11th - 16th.
